OPT-OUT

Guy's main canon is largely not too upsetting, other than his parents having a tragic Disney death trapped in tar, causing Guy to spend much of his childhood and teen years alone other than the company of his sentient pet sloth Belt.

However, Guy is a CRAU from [community profile] thegames, A Hunger Games DWRP, and therefore has experienced or gained knowledge of a lot of the resultant problematic aspects of Hunter Games canon, ranging from mention of death arenas, child murder, sexual harassment (due to the forced "hot celebrity" aspect), pedophilia, and a near miss with "bidding," aka forced prostitution/coercive rape.

The only aspects I generally won't ask or warn for are mention of the death arenas and the Capitol controlling his clothes/image since that's a little too ingrained in his experience to ignore.

Absolutely everything else, I will ask about these issues before springing them on people in threads, whether in narrative or dialogue. But you can use this post to opt out ahead of time. If you play multiple characters please list your player handle and characters.

There are both dialogue and/or non-dialogue triggering elements to choose to opt out of, since he might avoid saying things aloud but they still might be natural in inner dialogue. I need to know if they need to be kept out of dialogue, narrative, or both. Or if you need to opt out of playing with him completely.

Please comment below with the number and, if relevant, "Dialogue," "Non-dialogue" or "Both." Also pick any combination of opt outs you need. I know some people might be okay with some of these but not others, or be fine with it in inner dialogue but never mentioned to their character.

It won't be hard to avoid these topics while playing him due to his desire to move on. He can be salty and a little jaded without getting into why.

Options:

1) Opt out of being tagged by him entirely. While I won't raise most of the issues he's been exposed to in narrative/inner dialogue without asking, his general manner of distrust and some slightly obvious past trauma gives some hints as to his background. For instance, he doesn't like to be touched by strangers in even casual gestures unless asked due to ongoing sexual harassment. He's more at ease with it with someone he's gotten close to.

2) Opt out of dialogue and/or non-dialogue references to child murder (in possible discussion of how the games used to be stocked with child combatants.)

3) Opt out of dialogue and/or non-dialogue references to sexual harassment, as some Tributes like Guy were objectified and sometimes touched by strangers without their permission. (Such as Guy randomly getting his biceps groped a lot, usually being given ostentatious Capitol outfits without shirts etc.)

4) Opt out of dialogue and/or non-dialogue references to forced prostitution/coercive rape wrt to the bidding process, where Capitol citizens could bid on Tributes to be prostituted to them, usually under threat, which Guy narrowly avoided. (But definitely was traumatized by the threat of).

5) Opt out of dialogue and/or non-dialogue references to pedophilia wrt to his knowledge that Capitol citizens used to prostitute child Tributes from the Districts in bidding as well, and that it was known by some of the Tributes that they were often groomed to look younger because of Capitolites' "tastes" wrt to Tributes.
